Finisher ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data — when you sign in, we collect your email address and a secure identifier via Clerk (our authentication provider).
• Subscription data — if you subscribe to Finisher Premium, your purchase is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a subscription status token via RevenueCat; we do not store your payment card details.
• Race result data — we display publicly available IRONMAN and 70.3 triathlon results sourced from official race timing providers. We do not create or modify this data.
• Notification email — if you submit your email on our website to be notified at launch, we store it via Formspree solely for that purpose.
• Usage data — we may collect anonymised app usage data (screens viewed, features used) to improve the product. This data is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To verify your Premium subscription status
• To display race results and analytics within the app
• To send you a one-time notification when the app launches (launch list only)
• To improve app performance and fix bugs

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers under strict data processing agreements:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• PostHog — anonymised product analytics
• Formspree — launch notification email list

4. Race Result Data

Race results displayed in Finisher are sourced from publicly available timing data published by event organisers. If you are an athlete who wishes to have your name or results removed from our display, please contact us and we will action your request within 14 days.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Launch notification emails are deleted once the app is publicly launched.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at finisherapp@trainwise.fitness.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your data. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which holds SOC 2 Type II certification.

8. Children

Finisher is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
